A chic city elopement by the coast…
As a photographer I am always searching out how to improve my craft and bring my clients the best I can. So for 2023 that meant joining a gang of talented photographer’s down in Brighton for the annual Photography Farm Thrive 2023 conference. I was lucky enough to spend 2 days listening to some of the best UK/Europe/American wedding photographers there are and then shoot with my absolute girl crush Rebecca Carpenter. I have followed Rebecca’s work and rise to the dizzy heights of photography stardom for years now, so to meet the lady in person was a real privilege!
Day 2 of the conference was when we got back behind the camera and shot a very chic city elopement styled shoot with the stunning Shanie and ever so handsome Tony. This pair just oozed all the love and gorgeousness and were an absolute treat to capture.
Set within the Mecure Hotel on the Brighton seafront and then out to the little windy streets yonder, the styling set the tone for editorial vibes. With elegant cream roses by Magic Flowers & Gifts alongside a vintage 1968 Triumph Herald (affectionately named Lottie) we had an awesome backdrop for this pair to strut their stuff.
Shanie channeled girl boss vibes in an insane cream suit by Morgan Davis Bridal paired with a hat from Lovaine and pearl studded shoes by Charlotte Mills. Tony bought some bond-esque vibes with a patterned tuxedo and bow tie….making these guys look like a total power couple!
Now less of me chatting as these photos can do allllllll the talking for me…..who said smaller intimate city elopment style weddings can’t bring all the VIBES……this is evidence that this kind of wedding allows us to get creative and create portraits that are wall worthy!
