There are some weddings that feel effortlessly joyful from beginning to end, and Ant and Hoàng’s beautiful spring wedding at Crockwell Farm was exactly that. Set amongst the rolling Northamptonshire countryside, their day was a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple – relaxed, stylish, full of laughter, and centred around the people they love most.
From the moment I arrived at Crockwell Farm, there was an incredible sense of calm. Ant and Hoàng chose to get ready together at the venue, allowing the morning to unfold naturally without the rush of travelling between locations. Away from the excitement of the guests arriving, they were able to spend a few quiet moments together, easing any nerves and simply enjoying the anticipation of the day ahead.
Their ceremony took place in Crockwell Farm’s beautiful barn, surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was heartfelt, emotional and filled with genuine smiles, setting the tone for the celebrations that followed.
One of the highlights after the ceremony was the confetti celebration as the grooms stepped out from Crockwell Farm’s stunning glass atrium. Guests then made the most of the beautiful spring weather, enjoying delicious refreshments and canapés on the lawn while mingling over classic garden games before everyone gathered together for the wedding breakfast. It created such a relaxed, sociable atmosphere
Family and friendship were woven throughout every part of the day. Ant and Hoàng were supported by an amazing wedding party, with groomsmen and groomswomen standing proudly by their sides. It was also lovely to capture special moments with Ant’s godchildren and their wider families, creating photographs that I know will become treasured memories for years to come.
Portraits were one of Ant and Hoàng’s biggest priorities, and Crockwell Farm never disappoints. The venue offers such a variety of beautiful locations, from elegant gardens and countryside views to contemporary architectural features. We took advantage of the gorgeous spring light to create relaxed, natural portraits that felt authentic to them as a couple, before heading back to enjoy the celebrations with their guests.
Their delicious wedding breakfast was followed by heartfelt speeches, plenty of laughter and an evening filled with music, cake cutting and dancing. As the sun began to lower over the Northamptonshire countryside, we slipped away once more for a few golden hour portraits before returning for their first dance, complete with a beautiful curtain reveal that made for a truly memorable start to the evening celebrations.
As a Northamptonshire wedding photographer, Crockwell Farm remains one of my favourite venues to photograph. Its combination of character, beautiful light, exclusive-use setting and stunning countryside provides the perfect backdrop in every season. More importantly, it allows couples to relax and fully enjoy their wedding day, creating the natural, timeless photographs that I love to capture.
Ant and Hoàng’s wedding was a wonderful reminder that the very best celebrations are about connection. Watching them celebrate with the people who matter most, surrounded by so much love and support, was an absolute privilege to photograph.
Congratulations again, Ant and Hoàng. Thank you for trusting me to capture such an incredible day. I wish you both a lifetime filled with happiness, adventure and many more moments just like these.
