Becca & Tom planned their wedding in roughly 8 months and chose a Februray date in 2023 when they discovered their favoured venue Crockwell Farm could fit them in! This popular wedding venue is usually booked 18 months in advance so when they found out this date was available they jumped at it!
With elegant chic styling featuring a navy, white and subtle peach colour palette the venues natural rustic charm shone through beautifully. Timeless florals by Hibiscus Floral Design and the addition of a gin theme (which the wedding guests consequently drunk the bar dry off…a crockwell first!) made the perfect backdrop.
It was an uncharacteristically mild February Saturday when the couples said I do with the bride wearing a Halfpenny London Gown from Amare Brides. This chic column dress with an off the shoulder detail looked breathtaking on Becca. Beauclair hair had styled a perfect chignon which suited the look perfectly and Charlotte Chartwell perfected a beautiful natural makeup look. Becca carried a gorgeous white, peach and green bouquet with the unusual but fabulous addition of mini succulents!
The boys didn’t let the side down look super dapper in Hawkes and Curtis navy suits and grey waistcoats. As Becca floated down the aisle on her dads arm you can see Tom knows it is his lucky day! The couple exchanged Reve Diamond wedding bands and couldn’t wait to dive into the first kiss as man and wife!
Lucky for us the typical cold wet (or even snow) February day stayed away and we had mild temperatures to go explore Crockwell’s gorgeous countryside setting and stunning farmhouse. No matter the season this venue has a variety of perfect spots for couples portraits. Even taking the couple up to the top of the steep back drive so we could take advantage of the stunning panoramic views of the Northamptonshire countryside.
They wedding party all dived into a wedding breakfast by Ross and Ross before an equally heartfelt and entertaining round of speeches. Including a speech from the bride herself (yes please to more brides standing up and doing a speech…why shouldn’t they!?) A highlight being when the Father of the bride revealed the brides first love of majoretting as a teen…including handing her her old baton to twirl much to everyones delight!
A round of sparklers and night time portraits gave us some more awesome shots of this stylish pair before the guests enjoyed watching the couple dance a first dance to a Whitney Houston song played by the evenings entertainment Superstrut. Where they then all hit the dancefloor hard complete with Becca twirling her majorettes baton.
